PdfCraft changelog
The editor on this site runs the latest release, PdfCraft 0.8.0 from October 14, 2026. Each guide names the version it was written for; the changes since then are below.
October 18, 2026 — Homepage, AI panel and pricing
The homepage and public pages now follow the editor’s light theme. The persistent AI panel combines supported PDF editing with a dedicated PDF questions workspace, shared access settings and own-key editing. Whole-PDF uploads, page ranges, cost estimates and native save/undo behavior remain available.
The pricing page presents free editing, own-key access and one-time credit packs together. Credit prices and the existing PdfCraft community editor build are unchanged.
October 17, 2026 — PdfCraft editing Agent
Our community build of PdfCraft 0.8.0 adds an optional Agent that reads pages, replaces supported text lines, adds text and rotates selected pages in the open PDF. It uses existing Craft Apps credits and the editor's native undo history. Document identity, revision and exact original text checks guard edits.
Copy-restricted and signed PDFs, scanned text, complex layout reflow, signatures and permanent redaction are not Agent tools. Replacement can change font appearance or overflow a line; inspect the result before saving. Text replacement is not secure redaction. Save downloads the actual modified PDF.
This is a site-maintained patch, not an upstream release. Source patch · Build information.
